Roxy was an amazing girl that we were honored to love and care for. We are going to honor her memory by doing good things for others and animals in need. Thanks for going on this journey with us and for all the love and support for Roxy through the years. We deeply appreciate each and everyone of you. The first way I'm going to honor her memory is by walking dogs in shelters. My plan is take them out of the kennel environment and give them an amazing day. Then I'll share pictures and videos on social media so maybe some of them can get adopted and find their forever family. I'll also take toys, treats and food to the shelters. I don't always have a lot of money to offer but I do have an abundance of time and I can't think of a better way to spend that time than walking dogs in her memory. #WalkingForRoxy
We have a beagle, 4 rescue cats inside, 2 neighborhood dogs that come for a meal, water and a place to sleep through the week. There is a momma cat outside with babies that comes daily to eat and drink. There are a lot of animals in our area that need food and shelter so our soup kitchen is always open to them. We have no plans to get another dog of our own. There will never be another Roxy and the pain of losing her is still too fresh so for now we will help other animals in her memory.
